Florida Program Coordinator
Laura Lee’s responsibilities include facilitating the grant received from the West Orange Healthcare District in support of Lift’s new Wholeness Circle Care program. The Wholeness program is designed to provide care and support to individuals and families with disabilities. Her other duties include expanding BOOST locations to reach more individuals and families with disabilities and enrich the Summer Breakaway and Winter Retreat programming.
With a passion for developing people into strong Disciples of Christ, over the last decade, Laura Lee has worked globally in large and small churches to help congregations include persons with disabilities. Living with a disability herself, she has worked tirelessly with churches and para-churches to help them not only understand the complexities of disabilities, but to create space for them to be at the table. From 2003 to 2005, Laura Lee served as the Family Life Coordinator for the Lift Disability Network where she was responsible for the spiritual care of families living with disability. She communicated monthly with 120 disability related organizations throughout the U.S.
Laura Lee holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and is a former member Young Life Capernaum National Board.
