Dear Lift Family,

As one faces trauma, it is vital for them to find a place of security and rest. In 2021, we dedicated ourselves to helping families find a place to call home. A place where they can feel complete, accepted, and loved. Not a place of brick and mortar, but a place where they are surrounded by people who understand because the have their own personal story of disability.

Emerging from the sorrows of the pandemic, we begin to see new energy and excitement for regaining our programming footing. One year after the beginning of the virus, we were staring at the decision of what to do with Breakaway 2021, the foundational piece of our year. There was no hesitation, Breakaway 2021 would go face-to-face. From there, our programs began to roar, and we saw a 30% increase in programming over the year 2020.

As you will see in the annual report below, the annual revenues for 2021, also, received a great 12% bounce over 2020. As outreach increased, you responded. It was another record-breaking year in our financial position, but also, our volunteer hours were equally impressive. Not only did you contribute, but you gave your time with almost 13,000 volunteer hours. What a great family!
